Pennsylvania ASCD's online Curriculum Leadership Academy is a program designed to provide educators an in-depth, professional learning experience in curriculum leadership. The following topics are covered: (1) Developing and Revising the Curriculum, (2) Best Practices in Curriculum Design, (3) Implementing the Curriculum with Fidelity, and (4) Evaluating the Curriculum.  The target audience for this course includes: central office administrators, principals, assistant principals, and other educational leaders. Strategies and techniques to be successful, resources that are available, and how to continue to improve in a variety of areas of curriculum leadership will be addressed.

This is an Act 45 approved professional development opportunity worth forty (40) Act 45 hours. 

Target Audience:

The Curriculum Leadership Academy is designed for central office administrators, principals, assistant principals, and other educational leaders who are interested in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in the district. 

Program Format:

What is the format of the Online Curriculum Leadership Academy?

Pennsylvania ASCD's Online Curriculum Leadership Academy allows participants to work at their own pace asynchronously in our online learning management system. Participants will respond to discussion board posts, review relevant presentations, and submit job-embedded assignments.
