Starr Sackstein is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher who taught High School English in NYC public schools for 16 years and then was the Director of Humanities in West Hempstead schools in NY for two years. She is currently an educational consultant for the Core Collaborative, serving as an instructional coach in all things formative assessment.
