The 2019 Pennsylvania ASCD Conference will feature 25 one-hour small group sessions led by Pennsylvania educators focusing on:
SPACES: What are the effects on learning when we rethink and redesign WHERE students interact?
AGENCY: How does our approach to learning change when we focus on learner self-efficacy and student voice and choice as our WHY as educators?
DESIGN: What possibilities and outcomes exist when we redefine HOW learning is facilitated to increase motivation, engagement and growth?
SYSTEMS: WHAT strategies can be used to remove barriers to transformational, systemic change to meet the needs of current and future learners?
Please plan on attending the event and bringing your colleagues. This is a great venue and opportunity for your leadership team to learn together. Our conference committee is planning a conference that you do not want to miss!!! It’s what happens in our classrooms that impacts our students and we have some great ideas that will have you Discovering New Perspectives for Learning: SPACES, AGENCY, DESIGN and SYSTEMS.
